At this year's Caravan Salon, a groundbreaking new product was unveiled - the Weinsberg X-Cursion CUV, which is an adaptation of the proven Knaus Tourer CUV. United in a new revolutionary vehicle class, this semi-integrated camper in two layouts shows true greatness in camping with its compact dimensions and intelligent solutions.
What was previously considered impossible in the Bulli class is now becoming an ingenious reality: the Weinsberg X-Cursion CUV based on the VW T6.1 Bulli offers a bathroom, WC, garage and impressive standing height in a vehicle that is practical and versatile in everyday use.
This innovative retractable roof concept not only creates impressive headroom at the campsite, but also maximizes living space without compromising the compact exterior dimensions. With the lifting roof extended at the parking space, there is a generous 2.17 m of headroom.
The innovative lifting roof consists of three parts: a bellows, a mechanism and a roof shell. These parts are perfectly matched and provide easy operation, high stability and optimum reliability. The bellows, made of HYONIC material, is waterproof, mildew resistant and insensitive to moisture. The upper panel of the lifting roof is made of a robust fiberglass composite with insulating EPS core, combining stability and lightness.

Living and sleeping
Despite its compact dimensions, the Weinsberg X-Cursion CUV offers a spacious interior with a well thought-out room concept. The dinette in the 500 LT floorplan even seats up to eight people by rotating the rotating cab seats. Innovative storage boxes can be hung individually to provide storage space exactly where it is needed.
The seating group becomes a bed measuring 1.3 m x 1.91 m at night. Optionally, an innovative lifting bed can be added in the bow, which creates a second sleeping area for up to two people. Here is a generous lying area of 1.48 m x 2.03 m.
Kitchen
The compact kitchen of the Weinsberg X-Cursion CUV cleverly integrates the 98-liter refrigerator into the kitchen unit, and the full-extension drawers keep cooking utensils close at hand. Furthermore, there is a stainless steel sink and a two-burner stove with electric burner ignition and divided glass cover.
Bath
The compact bathroom of the Weinsberg X-Cursion CUV offers a full shower cabin with folding wall, high-quality fittings and standing height. There is also an integrated sink and a rotating Dometic cassette toilet.
A Truma diesel heater is installed as standard for comfortable temperatures. A control panel allows information on the status of the battery, water tanks and power connection to be viewed at any time. Further storage space can be found in a rear garage.
