After LMC presented a modular caravan with a Humbaur-based modular system at the Caravan Salon 2024, the innovative modular furniture system LMC Modo was now presented in the IVECO Daily Switch at CMT 2025. In the Daily Switch, modular self-builds with the Modo system are also possible in panel vans.
Target group
The flexible furniture system is aimed at craftsmen, sportspeople, sales representatives, digital nomads and anyone who is frequently on the move, both professionally and privately. Workation is the keyword. LMC Modo also allows you to quickly switch between leisure and everyday use in the Iveco Daily Switch. Practical: the flexible furniture system is tax-deductible for tradespeople.
Technology and equipment
The basic vehicle is the Iveco Daily Switch, a versatile vehicle that combines work and leisure fun. This makes the Daily Switch the ideal platform for the LMC Modo system.
The Iveco Daily Switch with Modo system scores with its generous amount of space and, with the optional pop-up roof, has a total of four fully-fledged sleeping berths. The vehicle itself is available in various weight classes from 3.5 to 7 tons and as a 4x2 or 4x4 variant. The basic version of the Daily Switch has a powerful 3.0-liter Euro-Vl-e engine and a towing capacity of 3.5 tons.
Interior
LMC Modo is a modular system with a uniform size and can be individually extended by the user. It is also compatible with Würth, Häfele and Sortimo systems.
To ensure that the modules can be safely installed in the Daily Switch, the vehicle has numerous airline rails in the floor, on the side walls and on the ceiling.
The various modules can now be integrated on the airline rails, depending on customer requirements. This allows the van to be transformed into a comfortable camper.
The felt attached to the roof and walls provides a certain coziness, including insulation. The floor is covered with laminate-look flooring.
Modules
Among other things, a kitchen module is available that can also be installed as an outdoor version for outdoor cooking. Storage space is provided by a variable cupboard module that can be extended with shelves.
There is also space for clothes and other vacation items in the practical fabric hanging lockers. The highlight: these can be conveniently packed at home, transported with the shoulder strap and then hung in the LMC Modo.
Attractive for craftsmen and DIY campers: a modular workbench that turns the Iveco Daily Switch into a mobile workshop. The modular furniture system impresses with its versatility and flexibility, so that different living space concepts can be implemented in the Iveco Daily Switch.
During the day: mobile office or workshop, at night a campervan for up to four people.
